Form 5

Boston Fire Department

Engine Company 26-35

September 16, 1902

TO THE FIRE COMMISSIONER.

Sir:-

I most respectfully ask to be transferred to some company, City Proper preferred, in which I may not be obliged to act in the capacity of a Chief's driver. I would also respectfully state that a short while ago I forwarded a communication similar to this one and have not, as yet, heard from it.

Respectfully submitted,
Joseph A. Webber
Hoseman

September 16, 1902

Disapproved on account of Hoseman Webber's experience as driver for Chief of Department. I consider he is the best man for the position.

J. T. Byron
Captain
